Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce sugar-free
  • 1 tsp soy sauce or coconut aminos
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional: pinch of smoked paprika or cayenne for extra heat

Method
 

  1. Melt Butter: In a small saucepan on medium heat, and melt the butter until it starts to bubble.
  2. Add Seasoning: Adding powdered garlic, powdered onions and black pepper helps to bring out their aroma.
  3. Add Cream and Mustard: Add the heavy cream and the Dijon mustard and keep on whisking until smooth.
  4. Add Sauces: Add Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce (or coconut aminos). Adjust salt to taste.
  5. Simmers: Turn the heat to the lowest position and allow the sauce to simmer between 3-5 minutes until it becomes slightly thickened.
  6. Rest and Serve: Shut off the heat and allow to rest 2 minutes and drizzle over your newly grilled steak or store in a jar to use later.
