Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup frozen blueberries
  • ½ cup unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk
  • ¼ cup Greek yogurt full-fat, unsweetened
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flaxseed meal
  • ½ tablespoon almond butter optional for extra creaminess
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 –5 ice cubes
  • Sweetener to taste stevia, erythritol, or monk fruit

  • Blender (high-speed preferred)
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Glass or smoothie jar
  • Straw (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preparing Ingredients: It is recommended that before making the meal, the ingredients be measured and kept ready.
  2. Blend: Place frozen blueberries, almond milk, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, almond butter, vanilla extract, as well as a sweetener in the blender.
  3. Add Ice: Add in Ice cubes and shake till smooth and creamy.
  4. Add Consistency: In case the smoothie is too thick, pour in a bit more almond milk until it has the desired consistency.
  5. Serve: Fill into a chilled glass or jar and drink on the spot. a few fresh blueberries or a leaf of mint may be served as a garnish.
